July & August Featured Wines
2025 Unoaked Chardonnay
Lemon Meringue, Bosc Pear, Cantaloupe
Chardonnay, unbuttoned. With no oak to get in the way, this is Chardonnay at its freshest and most fun — it practically jumps from the glass with lemon meringue pie, citrus peel, ripe pear, and a touch of cantaloupe melon. It finishes with a bright, mouthwatering snap of acidity that keeps you coming back for another sip. Grown on our organically farmed Valle di Sotto vineyard in Napa's cool Oak Knoll District, it's the kind of crisp, easy-drinking white that makes a hot afternoon better.
Pairs with: sunny patios, a cheese board with Clif Family Jams, grilled corn slathered in herb butter, fish tacos, or a platter of summer crudités. Chill it down and let it do the hosting.
2024 Grenache, Sonoma Valley
Juicy Plum, Raspberry, Strawberry
If you've never made Grenache your house red, this is your invitation. A discovery wine for anyone ready to wander past Cabernet, it pours a bright, pretty purple and strikes that lovely balance of fruit and earth — juicy plum and raspberry with a cool, stony edge. It's beautifully balanced and food-friendly, with soft tannins and a vibrant burst of acidity on the finish that makes it endlessly easy to pour again. Sourced from the organically farmed Steel Plow Vineyard in Sonoma Valley, it's proof that the fun is in the discovery.
Pairs with: a long picnic table, herb-roasted chicken, grilled summer vegetables, a charcuterie spread with our Farm jams, or cedar-plank salmon. Serve it with a slight chill on a warm night.
2023 Gary's Improv, Napa Valley Zinfandel
Plum, Blackberry, Savory Spice
Named for co-founder Gary Erickson and his go-with-the-flow spirit, Gary's Improv is the wine you open when friends turn up unannounced. Dense and rich in the glass, it's loaded with ripe Santa Rosa plum, blackberry, and cherry, with medium tannins and a refreshing acidity that keeps it lively rather than heavy. The finish is long and savory — the kind that leaves you reaching for the next bite. Grown on our organically farmed Valle di Sotto vineyard in Oak Knoll, it's the ultimate companion for anything off the grill.
