Meet winemaker Laura Barrett.
Laura doesn’t just love wine. She has a lifelong curiosity and fascination with science and an eye for detail. Her approach to winemaking is inspired by her first harvest in New Zealand; after that experience, she earned a Masters in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis, then went on to hone her skills with some of Napa Valley’s most celebrated winemakers. With a vineyard-first approach and a commitment to organic farming and sustainability, Laura’s intention is to craft elegant, beautifully balanced wines.

Clif Family farms 90 acres of organically farmed vineyards in the Howell Mountain and Oak Knoll District AVA’s of the Napa Valley. Our estate vineyards hold CCOF and Napa Green certifications, reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility.
