Ingredients
- 2 bone-in pork chops, about 1.25” thick
- 2 Tbsp Clif Family Red Wine Seasoning, divided
- 2 cups red seedless grapes, on the vine or loose (optional)
- 2 Tbsp Clif Family Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Clif Family Organic Apple Butter, as desired (optional)
Instructions
- Season the pork chops: season each pork chop with Clif Family Red Wine Seasoning on both sides (about 1 Tbsp per chop). Let sit for about 30 minutes-1 hour before cooking to allow the seasoning to absorb.
- Preheat an oven to 300F. Blot both sides of the pork chops with a dry paper towel to remove excess moisture. Add 2 Tbsp olive oil to a preheated 12” skillet over medium high heat. Gently place pork chops down in the pan. Sear about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and transfer to the oven to finish on the other side.
- Bake 6-8 minutes, you can use a probe thermometer to check temperature and pull at an internal temperature of 145 degrees. Remove pork chops and rest under a foil tent.
- While the pork is resting, return the skillet to a burner over high heat. Place the grapes in the skillet, and cook on high until they form a light char and start to burst. Remove from skillet and set on a serving platter or plate.
- Slice the pork chop off the bone and cut into ½” thick pieces. Serve with the blistered grapes and a dollop of Clif Family Organic Apple Butter if desired.
