  • More than 30 years ago, Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford sparked a movement with the launch of Clif Bar, driven by a passion for organic ingredients and a life lived outdoors. That same adventurous spirit eventually led them to the soil of Napa Valley, where they founded Clif Family to explore the connection between the land and the glass. What began as a personal project—harvesting olives from century-old trees and tending to a family garden—has grown into a vibrant winery and organic farm. Today, we carry that legacy forward through our estate vineyards and our Bruschetteria Food Truck, staying true to Gary and Kit’s original vision: crafting high-quality, sustainable provisions that fuel your next great discovery.
  • Our estate spans over 90 acres of vineyards and 10 acres of orchards and olive groves, all proudly certified organic by CCOF to ensure land management free from synthetic fertilizers and harmful pesticides. As part of the Napa Green Vineyards program, we prioritize climate action and social equity through regenerative agricultural practices. By implementing no-till cultivation, maintaining perennial cover crops, and integrating managed sheep grazing, we actively enhance soil vitality and reduce carbon emissions across our entire agricultural footprint.

From the rocky slopes of Howell Mountain to the cool breezes of the Oak Knoll District, our estate-grown wines are a reflection of the unique Napa Valley sites where they thrive.
