We've selected some of our favorite Cabernets that are supple and plush yet still have the bold backbone to stand up to food, especially anything hot off the grill. Just because it’s summer does not mean you can't break out the good glassware, fire up the grill, and pop open a bottle of Clif Family Cabernet. After all, everyone deserves a little decadence now and then.
2018 Cima Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine offers dark fruit aromas of savory blackberry pie and deep blueberries. Rich and concentrated on the palate, it has a burst of chewy tannins and a long finish with notes of boysenberry, dark chocolate, and cedar. Only 285 cases produced.

2017 Croquet Cabernet, Howell Mountain
When first opened, this wine presents aromas of creamy vanilla, tobacco, and black currants. With a little time, it opens to reveal fresh-picked blackberries, cherry pie, and cinnamon. It has a soft, lush texture and a broad, long-lasting finish. Only 350 cases produced.
Savor with a Steak and Chimichurri Sauce
2018 Cold Springs Cabernet, Howell Mountain
This classic Cabernet offers aromas of tobacco, cedar, Bing cherry, ripe plum, and earth. This vintage of Cold Springs showcases beautiful oak characteristics in its aromatics. The wine is rich with bright acidity. Only 450 cases produced.
