Our Cold Springs Vineyard sits at 1,660 feet above the Napa Valley floor on Howell Mountain, organically farmed, and this Cabernet shows exactly what that elevation does. Classic Cabernet aromas of savory blackberry pie, ripe plum, and tobacco give way to lush tannins, juicy dark fruits, and a refreshing acidity that provides structure and length. Beautifully integrated oak, black currant, and dried violets on the finish. Aged 20 months in 90% new French oak, it is a special-occasion bottle that deserves to actually get opened. Pairs with BBQ smoked beef brisket and a wild mushroom tart.
