2021 Croquet Cabernet Sauvignon
From our organically farmed Croquet Vineyard on the north side of Howell Mountain — named for the croquet court on the property — the Croquet Cabernet Sauvignon is high-elevation Napa Valley Cabernet at full volume. Beautiful oak aromatics surrounded by toffee, ripe plum, blackberry, cedar, and tobacco lead to a powerful entry and full-bodied tannin structure with a lush, long-lasting finish that wants a fine ribeye or a plate of aged hard cheeses. Hand-harvested from steep hillside vines at 1,785 feet and aged in 100% new French oak. Pairs with bacon blue cheese burgers and lamb chops.
