The Best Savory Onion Dip

That's why we are thrilled to share our recipe for the BEST Savory Onion Dip, featuring our very own Clif Family Organic Savory Onion Jam. This mouthwatering dip is a perfect blend of creaminess and tang, with a hint of sweetness from our organic Savory Onion Jam. The onions are harvested from our organic Clif Family Farm here in Napa Valley and then delicately and meticulously caramelized for over 3 hours in our Organic Farm Preserve Kitchen. This recipe beautifully and deliciously showcases the depth of flavor that is achieved from this thorough process. This recipe is a staff and Wine Club Member favorite!  

Clif Family's Famous Savory Onion Dip

Recipe by the Clif Family Culinary Team   INGREDIENTS: 4 oz cream cheese, softened 1 cup sour cream ½ cup Clif Family Organic Savory Onion Jam, plus 1 Tablespoon for garnish ½ tsp salt ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp garlic powder 2 Tbsp chives, chopped   DIRECTIONS: Beat softened cream cheese using a stand or hand-held mixer until smooth. Add sour cream and mix until combined. Measure ½ cup + 1 Tablespoon of Clif Family Kitchen Savory Onion Jam and spread onto cutting board and chop both directions. Add chopped onions (reserving 1 Tablespoon), salt, onion powder, and garlic powder to the whipped cream cheese. On low speed, mix until combined thoroughly. Stir in chopped chives and refrigerate for at least one hour. The dip will be more flavorful if made a day ahead. Garnish chilled onion dip with the reserved 1 Tablespoon of chopped onion jam and additional chives.
