Herbed Goat Cheese Crostini with Clif Family White Wine Jelly

When it comes to pairing food with wine, it doesn’t get easier—or more delicious—than this Herbed Goat Cheese Crostini topped with Clif Family White Wine Jelly. The White Wine Jelly adds a sweet and tangy balance, making it an ideal match for your favorite white wines. Recipe by the Clif Family Culinary Team Yield: 40-60 Crostini (depending on the size of baguette)

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 sourdough baguette, sliced into ¼” pieces on a slight diagonal bias 
  • ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 oz softened goat cheese, such as Laura Chenel 
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped chives 
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped dill 
  • 4 Tbsp finely chopped Italian flatleaf parsley 
  • Juice of half a lemon 
  • 2 tsp salt 
  • ½ jar of Clif Family White Wine Jelly  

DIRECTIONS: 

  • Preheat oven to 300°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss sliced baguette with olive oil and salt to taste. Lay the slices evenly spread on a parchment-lined sheet tray.
  • Bake in the oven until lightly golden brown and crunchy (about 30 minutes). Allow to cool.
  • In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine goat cheese, chopped herbs, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Spread about half a tablespoon of herbed goat cheese on each crostino and top with about a teaspoon of Clif Family White Wine Jelly.
  • Serve and enjoy the perfect blend of creamy, herby, and slightly sweet flavors!
