Picture a long table under the oaks, rosé sweating in the afternoon light, and a bride-to-be surrounded by the people who love her most. That’s the kind of afternoon a wine country shower is built for, and you don’t need a vineyard in your backyard to pull it off.
If you’re planning a shower and want it to feel like Napa Valley without the plane tickets, you’re in the right place. We grow our own fruit, make our own wine, and put up small-batch preserves in our organic Preserve Kitchen, so a lot of what makes these ideas work can ship straight to your door. Here are three themes, each with a menu, a drink, and a little something to keep guests busy. Let’s get into it.
Pretty in Pink Lunch
Ask everyone to wear pink and the photos write themselves. Pour our Rosé of Grenache, which is light, dry, and easy to love whether your guests are wine people or not.
Keep lunch light. Roasted chicken or a cold pasta salad works, and our Winter Greens with Apricot Vinaigrette dresses hardy greens with feta, toasted pecans, and dried apricots for a bright, easy bowl.
For the fun part, set up a Polaroid station so guests can shoot their own photos the old-fashioned way. If you want to go all in, book a nail tech to do quick touch-ups while everyone sips.
Pink Garden Party Brunch
Garden or not, the centerpiece here is a jam bar. Pile a board with warm Model Bakery English muffins, fresh-baked sourdough, biscuits, and scones, with a gluten-free option so nobody’s left out. Then line up our jams at different heights on cake stands and let guests taste their way through. Crowd favorites: Meyer Lemon Marmalade, a Good Food Award winner, plus Strawberry Jam, Blackberry Jam, Peach Jam, and Blueberry Jam. Round it out with hard-boiled eggs, prosciutto, and a fresh fruit salad.
Pour Rosé, of course. For a showpiece bottle, reach for the 2025 Clif Family x Reyna Noriega Rosé of Cabernet Franc. It’s pretty in pink, with notes of strawberry shortcake and Saturn peaches, and the hand-painted artist label looks beautiful down the center of the table.
Give guests something to make and take home. A floral arranging station lets everyone build a small bouquet, or hand out paper fans and a few paints so they can decorate their own.
Rosé All Day Wine and Cheese Party
Make the food the centerpiece. Build a generous cheese board guests can graze all afternoon: brie, a goat cheese, a sharp cheddar, and a blue, with crackers, crostini, and good bread alongside. For crunch, scatter a few of our most popular nut mixes across the board: Rosemary Roasted Almonds & Pistachios and Tamari Glazed Mixed Nuts, with our Hot Honey Mixed Nuts for anyone who likes a little spice.
Here’s the surprise that gets people talking. Add our delicious Wine Jelly Trio, made from Clif Family wines in small batches. The red, rosé, and white jellies each pair beautifully with cheese, and most guests have never tasted anything like them. For one easy thing to make ahead, our Herbed Goat Cheese Crostini with White Wine Jelly puts herbed goat cheese on toasted baguette with a spoonful of jelly on top. Fill in the board with prosciutto, salumi, strawberries, apples, pears, and grapes.
For a non-alcoholic option, stir a spoonful of our Rosé Wine Jelly into sparkling water for a pink, fruit-forward spritz.
When you want a little friendly competition, run a blind tasting. Cover each bottle in a brown bag and have guests guess the grape. The winner takes home a bottle of Clif Family wine!.
Bridal Shower Favors Worth Keeping
Send everyone home with a jar of organic jam, tied with twine and a tag carrying the bride’s name, the date, and a line from a favorite poet. It’s the kind of favor that lives on a kitchen counter instead of in a junk drawer.
If you’d rather hand the whole thing off, our gift sets do the work for you. The Rosé Happy Hour gift pairs a bottle of Rosé with farm snacks and the Artisan Snack Happy Hour brings the cheese board essentials together in one box.
Raise a Glass
A wine country shower comes down to good food, a glass of something pink, and time with people you love. Everything here is grown and made by our family in Napa Valley, so it’s easy to bring a little of the farm to wherever you’re celebrating. Cheers to the bride.
Loved planning around our Rosé? The Wine Drop sends members something new from the cellar a few times a year, and members get first access to limited releases like the Reyna Noriega Rosé of Cabernet Franc. There’s always a fresh bottle on hand for the next celebration.
