2023 Valle di Sotto Zinfandel

This is a serious Zinfandel, reminiscent of our days making Howell Mountain Zinfandel.  Chocolate covered cherries, dark fruits such as blackberries, cedar and light oak dominate the aromatics.  There is no overpowering jammy quality to this vintage, likely due to the cooler growing season.  The palate is concentrated with a kick of acidity on the finish making for a long and delicious finish.
